Quilters! Take our Jelly Roll Challenge

Come join the fun, as you create with fabric!  All quilters are welcome to participate in our Jelly Roll Challenge.
This challenge will require you to use a "jelly roll" and make anything you want with it.  You may use additional fabrics to complete your project.  The completed projects would be shown at our June 2018 meeting.  For those not familiar with a jelly roll - it is something your can purchase at stores that sell fabric, and quilt shops, or online.  You can make your own jelly roll using strips the length of the fabric by 2 1/2 inches wide.  The original jelly rolls have 40 strips of fabric. That gives you almost a whole year to work on your project before “show and tell” next summer.
Anyone can take part in this challenge. To participate, simply purchase the fabric on your own, and begin sewing!

Join us for Textile Tuesdays

Textile Tuesday is still going strong and will continue into the fall. This group is always looking for new members! Check our calendar of events for exact dates and times.

We would like to send a thank you to the lovely Pat Cunningham from Log Cabin Fabrics in Selkirk, New York, who presented a memorable Fabric Trunk Show in August.  Pat came and shared her quilt collection filled with history, techniques and, of course, stories.
