Be a Friend in 2024!

The Friends of the Wallkill Public Library advocate for and support the library.

We engage in a variety of fundraising and volunteering efforts to help sustain library programs and activities.

We serve as a link between the library and community.

What we do…
*Support the Summer Reading Program
*Provide materials and services to the library
*Raise money through book and bake sales, raffle baskets, and events
*Advocate for legislation that benefits libraries

How we help….

Here are a few ways the Friends helped the Wallkill Public Library in the past:


*Purchased a PS4 gaming system along with controllers, games and chargers
*Funded museum passes/memberships
*Supported the Summer Reading Program by funding performers
*Purchased wish list items for the Quilters Group



We are looking for a few good Friends!
